EDGE PAINT SOLUTIONS
EDGE PAINT
Esagono MV
Water-based resin emulsion formulated in a matt version, for dyeing edges of belts, bags, straps, uppers, etc. Can be applied with a roller via machine or with a pad. Fast-drying with high film resistance to weathering. For best results, apply a first coat of neutral PENTAGONO MV. A second coat produces a raised, flexible, matt, and uniform film.
Costalux D08
Water-based emulsion of acrylic resins, natural and synthetic polymers, with self-polishing effect. Used for dyeing edges of belts, bags, straps, uppers, etc. Apply with a roller via machine or with a pad. Fast-drying with high film resistance to weathering. For best results, apply a first coat of neutral PENTAGONO MV.
Costalux D08 Opaco
Product with composition similar to COSTALUX D08, formulated in a matt version. Shares the same fast-drying properties and high resistance to weathering as the glossy version. Apply with a roller via machine or with a pad. For best results, apply a first coat of neutral PENTAGONO MV.
Poliver
Solvent-based transparent self-polishing dye with fast drying, adhesion, and light stability, suitable for colouring any part (soles, welts, etc.) and materials (PVC, polyurethane, and other synthetics), including leather composites. Available in transparent and covering versions and in various colours.
BASE COAT
Pentagono MV
Matt, medium-viscosity base coat, used as the first layer in edge finishing for leather goods. Provides excellent adhesion, highly flexible and durable.
Primer Bordi Cinture 167
Water-based primer with an evening effect for the cut edges of bags, briefcases, belts, and other leather items. Applied before EDGE DYES with a brush, pad, or machine to improve the final finish.
COLOURANTS
Tingipelle e Tingipelle Super
High-penetration, fast-drying dyeing preparation with excellent light and rub fastness. Provides transparent, uniform colour on vegetable-tanned and full-grain leather while maintaining the natural characteristics of the item, such as softness, feel, and flexibility. Can also produce an antiquing effect when applied with a pad. Available in a wide range of colours. For use, immerse or spray the area to be treated. Allow to dry for a few minutes to consolidate the colour.
Coravel
Transparent alcohol-based colour with high dyeing power, for colouring vegetable-tanned leathers with an antiquing effect. Can be applied with a sponge, brush, or machine. Can be diluted with alcohol.
Iridon W
Concentrated series of metal-complex azo dyes, soluble in both water-based and solvent-based products. Available in a wide range of colours. Add 2% IRIDON W to the neutral product and mix.
