PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS FOR TANNING, PROTECTION AND ENHANCEMENT OF LEATHER

WETTENS AND DELIMING AGENTS

Imbitol H

It has antiseptic properties, it prevents the growth of the bacteria. Specific agent for soaking and liming. The IMBITOL H joins a strong wetting power to a good stability to the alkalis, the acids and to hard waters. Having antiseptic properties, it prevents the growth of bacteria. In the liming it facilitates a rapid penetration in section, of the lime and of the sulphire, in order to get a regular blowing up, avoiding the blowings of the grain.

Decalcin TM

Deliming-agent. Mix of inorganic ammonium salts. DECALCIN TM allows a fast and complete deliming without swelling. DECALCIN TM acts very well in baths with PH lower than 8,2.

Decalcin Eco BCA

Ecological deliming agent, with masking action when used as a pickling acid. Mixture of dicarboxylic acids DECALCIN ECO/BCA promotes the elimination of chemically bound limeto the dermal substance, forming soluble calcium salts, without causing harmful effectsswellings. The use of DECALCIN ECO/BCA has the advantage of being free from salts ammonia and therefore does not cause problems in waste water.

DEGREASERS

Dyamul OE

Degreasing agent for pelt and tanned leather. Blend of synthetic alcohols polycondensed with alkyloxide, aliphatic ethers and ester. medium/high boiling. DYAMUL OE is a degreaser completely soluble in water, thanks to its particular formulation, it presents an elevated solvent and emulsifying power of the natural greases, furthermore it helps an homogeneous distribution of the fat left in the leather. The detergent power of the dirt is good.

Sgrassante 12/01

Degreasing agent for pelt and tanned leather, biodegradable. Sulphated derivative from dodecylbenzene and particular amines. SGRASSANTE 12/01 has replaced the nonilphenol in tannery field, thanks to the high biodegradability and the good wetting power. SGRASSANTE 12/01 extracts the skin grease without giving a dry and a arid coat, particularly suitable for ovine goat leathers.

SYNTHETIC CHROME

Sacmacron R

Synthetic chrome retanning. Mixture of condensed naphtalene sulphonic acid and basic chrome III sulphate. SACMACROM R has a good light fastness. It is suitable for retanning leather tanned with chrome or vegetable extracts. SACMACROM R does not modify the shade of the dye, so it is suitable were bright colours are needed. SACMACROM R gives a fine grain with an excellent softness; it is recommended especially for calf and sheepskins.

NEUTRALIZERS AND DISPERSANTS

Sacmadol CNN

Neutralizing product for chrome leather. Blend of inorganic salts The use of SACMADOL CNN permits to obtain leathers with the right degree of neutralization. SACMADOL CNN neutralizes the surface of the leather, penetrates in the fibres leaving the grain with a good flexibility. Furthermore it doesn’t cause the formation of chrome-soaps with fatty oil, avoiding the risk of spew.

Sacmatan P/100

Neutralising syntan. Blend of syntans and inorganic salts. Neutralising syntan with softening effects. SACMATAN P100 reduces the aggressiveness and improves the penetration of the vegetable tannins. If used alone, before or after fatliquoring, it gives the leather a soft hand. Its strong action as a dispersing agent for the vegetable tannins, improves the dyeing properties of the items treated with vegetable agents. SACMATAN P100 is also recommended for the production of wet-blue split for embossed articles. SACMATAN P100 improves the final results giving a full hand effect.

Sacmadol ONS

Dispersing, Naphatalenesulphonic acid derived. The use of SACMADOL ONS is particularly suggested when a good dispersion of vegetable tannin, synthetic tannin, stuffing and dyes, is required. SACMADOL ONS allows the penetration of dyes with anionic caracter. SACMADOL ONS can be also used in mixture with chrome powder, obtaining a leather with a fine flat grain, and with a light colour. Because of the chemical nature of components, SACMADOL ONS light solidity is not very good.

FILLERS

Sacmafil SP

Filler. A blend of organic compounds and synthetic derivatives. SACMAFIL SP is a product based on proteins, carbohydrates, colloidal substances, and synthetic fats. It is used to give the leather a particular fullness, especially on the flanks, and to improve the softness and interfibrillar filling of any type of treated leather.

Sacmafil PR

Selective Protein filler. Protein filler and synthetic resin added to colloide substances. It can be used either on full grain leathers or buffed leathers in order to obtain a good fullness, especially on bellies. SACMAFIL PR is able to give the leather a particular lightness and softness and doesn't make the dye fade.

SYNTHETIC AND VEGETABLE TANNINS

New Tan

Aluminium-based tanning agent for leather, for obtaining WET WHITE leather. Product is recommended as tanning agent for leather, as arternate to traditional chrome/zirconium/titanium/aldheydes or syntans. Additivate to pickled hides with recommended pH in the range 2,6-2,8; recommended simultaneos addition of formic acid to keep pH < 4,0 until the end of treatment (stable crossed section with metilorange), lower pH gives better penetration into leather. Processing time and product percentages are depending upon leather thickness. It is recommended resting overnight to complete processing.

Sacmatan FC

Syntan for white. Tannin of phenolic derivation. SACMATAN FC can be used on every kind of chrome leather. The main characteristics of this tannin are: excellent light fastness, it is only slightly astringent and gives the dyes a particular brightness. SACMATAN FC combined to chrome allows you to obtain a round, gummy and soft touch simultaneously. SACMATAN FC is also suitable for leathers destined to tumbling.

Sacmatan 2DS New

Substitute syntan for white leathers with lightfastness. SACMATAN 2DSNEW is used as an own tanning agent, and retanning for chrome leathers. It allows to obtain white leather, with light fastness, excellent fullness and soft touch. SACMATAN 2DS NEW is particularly suitable to obtain pastel colours.

Sacmatan PLX

Substitute syntan for white leathers with lightfastness. Product of dioxi-diphenil-sulphonic condensation. SACMATAN PLX is used as an own tanning agent, and retanning for chrome leathers. It allows you to obtain white leather, with light fastness, excellent fullness and soft touch. SACMATAN PLX is particularly suitable when you want to obtain pastel colours.

Sacmatan PLX-I

Substitute syntan for white leathers with light fastness. Dioxy-diphenyl-sulfonic acid condensation product. SACMATAN PLX-I is used as an own tanning agent, and retanning for chrome leathers. It allows you to obtain white leather, with light fastness, excellent fullness and soft touch. SACMATAN PLX -I is particularly suitable when you want to obtain pastel colours.

Trial

Tanning agent for furskins, suede split and wet white. Blend of organic and inorganic alluminium salts. TRIAL can be used for all kinds of skins, alone and as well in combination with other mineral tanning agents. Leathers tanned with TRIAL have a white, soft and agreable touch. In combination with chrome reduces the quantities giving better colorability and same TG proprieties. Used on suede, yeld a more compact surface , with a better writing effect. TRIAL is compatible with mineral tanning agents. Content of aluminium oxide: 12,5%

RESINS

Resimel 683

Selective Protein filler Protein filler and synthetic resin added to colloide substances. It can be used either on full grain leathers or buffed leathers in order to obtain a good fullness, especially on bellies. SACMAFIL PR is able to give the leather a particular lightness and softness and doesn't make the dye fade.

Resimel C/15

Retanning agent, Polyacrylated sodic. Despite the reduced concentration RESIMEL C/15 is a retanning agent with good filling properties, that allows you to obtain leathers with firm grain, soft and natural coat. The particular roundness RESIMEL C/15 confers to the leathers is hardly obtainalble with similar products. Thanks to the softening agent used in the phase of stuffing, RESIMEL C/15 permits to reduce the percentage of the greasing agent. The use of this retanning agent is recommended if you want to get smooth, soft articles and tumbled nappa. Besides RESIMEL C/15 is stable to the light, to the electrolytes and to a broad interval of pH.

Resimel C/34

Retanning agent. Polyacrylated sodic. We can say RESIMEL C/34 is a retanning agent of universal use, thanks to its stability to the electrolycts and to a wide interval of pH. The leathers treated with RESIMEL C/34 are particularly firm and full. RESIMEL C/34 thanks to the very good light fastness is advisable for white and light shades.

Legante PU/HC

Finishing binder. Aqueous emulsion of aliphatic polyurethane. PU/HC BINDER is suitable for high-quality finishes where scratch and water resistance are required. PU/HC BINDER forms a rigid, slippery film. As a final topcoat, it is the ideal replacement for nitroemulsions and solvent-based topcoats, avoiding the environmental problems associated with emissions.

OILS AND FATLIQUORS

Likersol K/125

Cationic stuffing. Mix of synthetic oils and emulsifying derived to quaternary compounds. LIKERSOL K/125 used in mix with anionic stuffings, helps you obtain a softer leather suitable for vacuum drying. LIKERSOL K/125 is valid also if it is used in the pickling and chrome tannage bath, in order to obtain a fine grain, soft and elastic with good resistance to tearing. LIKERSOL K125 added after acidifying in fatliquoring, helps the exhausting and makes the leather less absorbent therefore more suitable for finishing. The use of LIKERSOL K125 is advisable when you want to obtain the writer effect on velour leathers; it is also suitable for oiling the grain of the vegetable leather. Thanks to its light fastness, it can be used for white leathers and pastel tones.

Neosol CZ/58

Synthetic fatliquor for all leather types. A saponified blend of synthetic oils and emulsifiers. It imparts the softness, smoothness, and elasticity of a natural grain to the leather. It also does not cause repoussé. It can be used alone or in combination with other fatliquors of different types, including anionic, non-ionic, or weakly cationic fatliquors.

Novol LS

Specific FATLIQUOR for soft leathers. Etoxilated and sulphonated natural organic complex. NOVOL LS used to fatten chrome leathers gives a good full and a silky touch. NOVOL LS can be defined as universal, because it can be used with all the auxiliaries thanks to its emulsion stability.

Olio Setoso LB

Fatliquor for boxcalf. Produces a shiny suede with a writing effect. Blend of mineral oils and emulsifiers. Particularly suitable for velour items, it provides shine and the characteristic writing effect. It is a product with good stability against acids, salts, and hard water. When mixed with other fats, it also prevents repousse.

FATTENING AID

Laurol R

Emulsifying and coadjuvant agent in leather stuffing. Sodiun Alkyl sulphate LAUROL R has an excellent resistance to hard waters, acids and bases, as well as having a particularly penetrating and softening action. LAUROL R facilitates the emulsion of fats, it eliminates the risks of separation on the surface, of the oils and fats used. It facilitates the dyeing and it makes the grain more receptive during the operation of pigmentation.

Morbitan GV

Softness and colour brightness for suede and nabuck articles. Auxuliary for greasing. Mixture of natural alcohols. With the use of MORBITAN GV in the greasing blend you obtain skins with brightness of colour and coat softness.Thanks to its characteristics, its use is recommended especially in recipe for velour and nabuk articles.

Sorbolex SU

Maintains the leather with a fresh and doughy feel, humidity stabilizer. Deriving from catalytic hydrogenation of one syrup. Thanks to the property of absorbing humidity from the atmosphere and to withhold it in a determinate percentage, SORBOLEX SU is used in order to maintain the leather with a fresh and doughy feel, even if it has been dried too quickly or stored for a long time. SORBOLEX SU is the opposite of other similar products, it has the property to penetrate in the leather’s section.

Sorbolex SU-I

Maintains the leather with a fresh and doughy feel, humidity stabilizer. Derivative of catalytic hydrogenation of glucose syrup. Thanks to the property of absorbing humidity from the atmosphere and to withhold it in a determinate percentage, SORBOLEX SU-I is used in order to maintain the leather with a fresh and doughy feel even if it has been dried too quickly or stored for a long time. SORBOLEX SU-I in contrast to other similar products, has the proprierty to penetrate within the skin section.

WAXES AND FINISHING AID

Cera HZ/N

Basecoat additive. Wax emulsion. HZ/N WAX is used in basecoats to reduce the thermoplasticity of resins. Excellent for rolling full grain.

Maxifiller Opaco SC

Matting agent for finishing. Silica and wax dispersion. MAXIFILLER OPACO SC is a good matting agent for finishing mixtures, as it acts without scaling or dulling the tone. Furthermore, thanks to the action of certain components, it allows for the creation of a very thin film. It can be rolled with felt.

Silcofinish

Feel modifier. Wax and silicone emulsion. SILCOFINISH is a water-dilutable feel modifier that can be used in both base and top coats. Using SILCOFINISH, in addition to reducing any stickiness, creates a leather with a pleasant, smooth, warm feel. SILCOFINISH also improves abrasion resistance.
